Light the Way with Hope!

You can help fight cancer by ordering a luminaria in honor of a loved one who survived cancer or lost the battle to cancer. Then join us at the luminary ceremony, which will take place at the Westerly Relay For Life at 9:30 pm on Friday, June 26, 2009. During this unforgettable ceremony, candles are placed in bags bearing the names of people who had cancer. Their names are read and a moment of silence and special music will conclude the ceremony. After the ceremony, the hundreds of luminaries brighten the way for Relay For Life walkers throughout the night. For a contribution of $50, $25, $10, or $5 (minimum donation), you can sponsor a glowing tribute to a loved one, and join a heartfelt ceremony that reminds us of how cancer touches us all.

Decorate your own luminary bags in honor of those you love. Come to the kickoff meeting or the weekly coffee hours and you can decorate your bags with our art supplies or take it home and decorate it at your convenience.
